Pullach - out in the countryside, on the outskirts of Munich.
A dreamer's dream come true: in 1843, sculptor Ludwig von Schwanthaler paid homage to the romantic middle ages with his castle. Today, we are continuing his dream - Schwaneck castle resides on the Isar terraces, towards the edge of Pullach, and only 10 km south of Munich.
Behind the castle, you can climb down to the re-naturated sandy river bank. Forstenrieder park, the fact that it is so close to Munich, the outdoor swimming pool and a number of cultural highlights have made Pullach an attractive destination for youngsters from all over the world.
